Flapjacks!  I love flapjacks.  My brother was in  charge of breakfast this morning and he made flapjacks.   He did a great job.

After breakfast, I decided to take Dwayne to Fat Man Squeeze and Buzzard Roost.  We took the Ranger up to the farm and parked it at the South Pond.  We then headed through the woods until we found our destination.

That really gets to be pretty tight toward the end.  Here are some other pictures of area.

This is Dwayne standing underneath Buzzard Roost.  Indians used to live under these bluffs.  Many arrowheads and other Indian artifacts have been found here.

Check out this balancing act from these huge rocks overhead.

Going back up through Fat Man Squeeze wasn’t any easier for either of us.

This is a shot I took from the top of Buzzard Roost looking down at the forest floor.  I was a little queasy taking this picture. I wouldn’t want to fall or jump to the bottom.

After our exploring, we headed back to the South Pond to pick up the Ranger.  The pond looked pretty.

I knew that the fish were just waiting for me to throw a lure in the water and I just happen to put a couple of poles in the back of the Ranger just in case.  8 bass and 1 bluegill.  I only fished for about 10 minutes.  This was the biggest bass.

My gracious and lovely wife and I are always sneaking a certain object into each others luggage when we go on a trip.  This has been going on for longer  than I can remember.  We have decided that whoever dies first, the other person has to place this priceless statue in the casket.  Until then, we keep sneaking it back and forth.  This time, I found it in my luggage when I got to the cabin.

No trip to Goreville is complete until we eat at Delaney’s On Broadway.  Dwayne and I both had the Country Fried Steak and all of the trimmings.  And of coarse, we both just had to have one of these.

We will probably be up half of the night, but it was worth it.  We will have to get up early in the morning to get Dwayne to the airport on time.  I think we will watch the debate and then hit the hay.   Good night John Boy.
